Tuesday Open Thread: Messaging

I have had requests to do an open thread where people can share their ideas on Democratic and progressive messaging, so here it is.  Personally, I'm not a messaging expert, and haven't written much about it, but in the age of 24/7 media cycle and sensationalized "news," how do you get the important messages out to start an adult conversation and actually engage the vast amount people?

I don't know the answer, but I think our democracy is in peril if we can't talk to each other like adults, and if the only thing that causes people to act (or even to just think) is outrage.

As always, feel free to use this thread for anything else you'd like to talk about as well.

Like what you read? Chip in, keep us going.
