Trump Jr. is an Asshole | Grass is Green News Break
Here we go.
To no one’s surprise, Trump Jr is a dick.
Jr. had joined Jerry Falwell and his wife Becki Falwell at a panel along with Jr’s girlfriend and sad woman who missed out on being California’s first lady, Kimberly Guilfoyle at a panel. Becki Falwell announced that she had a new granddaughter, and that the Falwells were going to let her play with dolls whereas the boys in her family would play with guns. Trump Jr. responded by mocking transgender people and saying “hashtag me too.”
Hopefully he will have time to think about prison reform in prison.
No deal with No. Korea: Trump falls flat
To paraphrase our dear Leader, nobody knew nuclear negotiations could be complicated. Donald Trump went to Vietnam with much fanfare to meet his second favorite brutal dictator, and thought he could totally make a deal to de-nuclearize the state. North Korean dictator Kim Jung Un even said he was willing to do it. But Trump couldn’t get it done.
In the mean time, the family of the American student who was brutally tortured by Kim’s regime before being returned home - torture that caused his death - two years ago is speaking out with outrage that Trump chose to take the word of a brutal murderer that he was not responsible for Otto Warmbier’s death.
A giant, orange fail.
TPV and Vetting Bernie updates:
On Thursday, we soft-launched VettingBernie.org. I am still in the process of importing a bunch of content to make it a fully functional site, but we have already started generating content. Head over to VettingBernie.org to read Trevor’s piece on Bernie’s continued nasty habit of kicking Hillary Clinton, and to read my article on Bernie’s history of support and admiration for Russia and Russia-supported dictators, from Soviet times to present day.
My goal is to have a full site launch on Monday.
Two Series on Health Care and Abortion Access launching on TPV next week
In the mean time, here’s what’s coming up at TPV from me:
Next week we will begin the series on looking at universal health care systems around the world, country by country.
March 10 is National Abortion Provider Appreciation Day, and I am in touch with a few organizations and clinics to conduct interviews. I interviewed two people at the frontlines yesterday, and over the next week, we will write articles on abortion access as well as release snippets of my interviews. Full interviews will be released closer to March 10.
Have a great Saturday, everyone!
