Open thread—Down goes Jackson, and Moron Hitler plays a deranged caller
This, children, is why I don't, in general, write posts the night before. Because sure as Hades, something will happen before I wake up the next morning.
Trump's pusher-man, Dr. Ronny "Chiseled Jaw" Jackson, withdrew his nomination to be VA Secretary after it was revealed by multiple sources that he was something of a douche. However, he'll keep his gig as White House doctor, able to give Trump his morning cocktail a la Theodor Morell.
Meanwhile, Trump decided it was a good idea to go onto "Fox & Friends" this morning, where he had a nervous meltdown. Even the F&F sycophants were staring aghast at the President of the United States channeling a drunken caller to a late-night call-in radio show. How bad was it? Trump said that Michael Cohen did only a small amount of work for him. Which the Southern District of New York jumped on almost immediately to dispute Cohen and Trump's claims of attorney-client privilege.
Once we get our country back, I for one am going to take a month-long break from any news and just try to remember what it was like before the new normal.
