Weekend self-care open thread—The Beatles' Christmas messages

So, I think it’s no secret that I grew up enwrapped in the music of the Beatles. At talent shows I’d sing “Yesterday” or “Eleanor Rigby”.

Every Christmas season on WNEW-FM in New York City, the station would have a day where it would play the Beatles’ Christmas messages.

These were records the band would make for members of its fan club. They were wonderful little pieces of whimsy, and their airing always signaled for me that soon Santa Claus would arrive.

For this weekend’s self-care thread, we’ll listen to few of these messages.

As always, take care of yourselves, and those around you.
