Why I Have No Tolerance for the Idea Bernie Sanders Represents
From my perspective we are at a very important time in human history. Due to the fact that we have been exploiting the earth we can now see that if we continue down this path that we will make the earth uninhabitable for humanity. We can also see that due to the fact that we have exploited our fellow human being that we have set up the foundation for war and we have advanced our instruments of war to a point where we now have the capacity to destroy all life on planet earth. We have been able to do these things because we have desensitized ourselves to the reality of what has been taking place. We have separated ourselves from the awareness of the consequences of these actions. We have been living in a state of division. We can see that if we continue down this path of division we will most certainly end up destroying ourselves.
Bernie Sanders has built his campaign on the idea of division. He speaks of a political revolution. He wants to take down whatever he considers to be the establishment. His campaign is based on dividing and separating things. This can be seen in his words and in his ideas and in his actions and in his behavior and it has been well documented in many articles already written on TPV. It is clear that his ideas and his being are rooted in the same division that has brought us to where we are today.
Barack Obama has spent his time in office with a completely different intention. It is clear that he has seen and understood the necessity to change our direction. He has understood that it is vital that we move away from things that divide us and instead for us to move towards ideas and policies that create unity. He has worked diligently in this direction and he has reflected this in his words and in his deeds. President Obama has been establishing in his presidency and his being in the value of the idea of unity.
President Obama has begun to turn the tide in this country. He is moving us away from the idea of division and toward the idea of unity. He has been a shining light in the service of humanity in this regard. Although the sense of unity that President Obama has been constructing is powerful it is still in it's infancy and therefore it is tender and it needs to be nurtured. Hillary Clinton has said that she wants to build on the policies of President Obama. It is vitality important that this happens. We need to build on the sense of unity that President Obama has begun.
I think it's important at this moment in history to begin to discern the difference between things that are imaginary and are fantasy and delusions and things that are grounded in a mature understanding of what is real and true. It is also important to discern the difference between things that are destructive, divisive and self-centered in their nature and things that are creative, evolutionary and are unifying in their nature. We need to become clear about these things in order to be able to understand what is needed so that we can move forward and not stay stuck in a past that is destructive and therefore doesn't serve us.
I have no tolerance for the idea that Bernie Sanders represents just as I have no tolerance for what essentially the whole political right represents and what they represent is the idea of division. It doesn't make sense to take something that is in a state of decay and put it in the table and call it dinner and it doesn't make sense to continue to invest in an idea that is in a state of decay. Understanding things through the eyes of division needs be be left in the past. If we continue to invest in the idea of division we will be moving in the direction of self-destruction. We need to invest in the idea of unity moving forward. The idea of unity is the antidote to the past and is our future if we want to have a future. This is the stark reality.
