Sunday self-care open thread—The Police

Every once in a while I get a burr up my bum, and I return to the music of my youth. One of the seminal bands growing up was The Police.

As an 11 year old, I really didn't understand lyrics like "He starts to shake and cough / Like that old man in the book by Nabokov". But precisely because I didn't understand the reference, it spoke to me of mysteries which I would unlock as I grew older.

For today's self-care thread, a few of my favorite songs by Gordon Sumner, Andy Summers, and Stewart Copeland.

As always, take care of yourselves, and others.
