Tuesday open thread—BOYCOTT NETFLIX!!!!111^^%&
It was reported yesterday that Barack and Michelle Obama have inked a production deal with online juggernaut Netflix. This, after Susan Rice was appointed to the Netflix board, has caused the right to lose their shpadoinkles.
"There, their, they're." It's so hard to keep track.
Is "sould" a witty portmanteau of "sold" and "soul"? Or is it just an indication of a bad education?
"Obamas". I know, it's so tempting to use unwarranted apostrophes.
I'm sure this boycott will be as successful as the one of Starbucks, and Amazon, and Grubhub, and Disney. Those companies bit the dust soon after, no?
You know, it's almost as if these cretins know their ideas have no value in a pluralistic society, are losing purchase by the day, and their only recourse is to throw tantrums against companies whom they see "killing their culture". When we on the left boycott it's to advance a cause of social or political justice. When the right does it, it's because someone, somewhere might be enjoying herself.
I, for one, will now never ditch my Netflix account. Libtards rule!
This is your open thread.
(PS: I didn't scour #BoycottNetflix for tweets with bad spelling. They were almost the first 3 tweets which leapt out at me. Ah, fish in a barrel.)
