Well, Moron Hitler is in a pretty pickle.
He signed the Russia/Iran/North Korea sanctions bill. One imagines he was drugged up and his hand was moved into position by John Kelly.
Of course, he issued a signing statement, where he whined that this was all unfair and infringed his power and wah wah wah.
Trump had no good options here.
He could outright veto it, and then be overridden in a humiliating way.
He could pocket veto, and have the bill retintroduced after the Congressional break, with a Congress now royally upset over his subterfuge.
Or he could sign it, which he did, further cementing in Vladimir Putin's mind that it's time to cut him loose and do as much damage as possible.
Of course, if he had vetoed it, that would have been worse from a domestic political standpoint, as it would be one more notch in the belt of his collusion.
Trump could have remained an outre reality show host and left politics to the professionals. But that night in 2011 when Barack Obama roasted him while Osama bin Laden was being sent to meet his Maker was the turning point. After that, his only raison d'etre was to win the presidency and undo everything that uppity negro had done. And to do so, he had to cheat, because most people just don't like him. (Also, he had to wait until Pres. Obama was out of office. It would have been the supreme humiliation to have lost the 2012 race to him.)
Having attained his immediate goal, it's all coming apart. He's a moron. He has no aptitude for governance. His whole shtick was one of grievance, and grievance doesn't get budget bills passed. And now, due to political realities, he has been forced to bite the hand which got him the presidency.
I'm so glad I'm me and not him.
