Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer

Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer

Marx said history repeats itself, the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce. We are now living through the most farcical of times.

Consider this. Last night in Charlottesville, VA, a panoply of Nazis marched through the streets holding... tiki torches. Their German forebears would hide their heads in shame.

And who are they marching for? An orator whose evil words could hold the masses rapt for four hour speeches? No. They march for a 70 year old, fat, orange shit gibbon who can't maintain a train of thought for longer than 15 seconds.

I'm not saying ignore them. Far from it. Farce can turn ugly quickly. But this isn't a mass movement. This isn't mobilizing the best and brightest. The American Nazi movement is a collection of the disaffected, the moronic, the imbecilic. Focus more on people like the Google engineer fired for his memo in which he disparaged Google's efforts at diversity. That's where the fight is, and people like Damore are much more plentiful.
