Most of the ads on yesterday's Super Bowl broadcast were not-so-subtle swipes at supposed president Donald Trump. But none had the impact of the ad by 84 Lumber. And the ad which showed wasn't even the entire spot; it's six minutes long and was too controversial for Fox. Here is the entire ad.
Sure, the evil empire won the game. But as the ads broadcast during America's secular holiday showed, companies know which way the wind is blowing. And despite Trump eking out an Electoral College win, they know it's not blowing towards Trumpism.
