The Daily Banter announced that its star writer, Chez Pazienza, passed away at the age of 47.
Sometimes he wrote stuff which had me throwing things at my monitor. Sometimes he wrote things which had me clapping like I was at an African American church. And that's the best you could ask of a writer: that he or she made you think.
And, of course, he was 47, which is my age. It's yet another death which shakes me of my complacency, and prods me to do the things I want to do, and not waste time on fripperies.
Rest in peace.
