It looks like many of us have hit a rough patch over the past week and that's completely understandable. We're in the political doldrums where we're slowly transitioning out of the primary and getting into general election mode. It's hard, but like our chosen candidate we must simply carry on. That is why I thought we'd have a nice casual Friday open thread here at TPV by sharing some of our favorite music. You can simply share any song and you're more than welcome to give a little background as to what makes the song special for you. As for yours truly, I'll get the ball rolling by sharing a song that always seems to lift me up, no matter what kind of day I've had. The name of the song is "The Blood of Cuchulainn" by Mychael Danna off The Boondock Saints soundtrack. I can't say what it is exactly about the song, but everytime I hear it come on my iPod I get a little extra pep in my step. The fact that the song is featured in one of my favorite movies doesn't hurt either. Happy Friday TVPers and let's share the musical soundtrack of our lives as we kick off a great weekend!
