A brief reminder that as our media attempts to portray Donald J. Trump's first 30 days as "unconventional" the facts bear out that we are witnessing a deranged and emotionally unstable man who is already using the presidency to enrich his family and his cronies. None of what he is doing is normal and his actions have already shown the man to be incapable of leading America for the next four years. For example:

It's not normal to insinuate that millions of illegal votes were cast in the presidential election without offering a single shred of evidence.

It's not normal to meet with three Indian investors to discuss potential business dealings the week after being elected as president.

It's not normal to name a White nationalist as your Chief Strategist whose website has become a haven for the KKK and neo-Nazis in America.

It's not normal to offer top-secret security clearance to a general's son who peddles in fake conspiracy theories, one of which led to a crazed gunman opening fire in a Washington, DC pizzeria.

It's not normal for a President-elect's national security advisor to have previously advocated for the jailing of a political opponent.

It's not normal to elect a man to head Housing and Urban Development with no government experience whose close friend said the last thing he would want would be to take a position that could "cripple the presidency."

It's not normal to nominate a Secretary of Education with no education background who is a mega-donor to the President-elect's campaign.

It's not normal for the President-elect's campaign manager to openly criticize a candidate for Secretary of State.

It's not normal for the President-elect to criticize Saturday Night Live on social media for their impressions of him.

It's not normal to select a climate denier to head the Environmental Protection Agency, the same agency that this candidate is currently suing

It's not normal to select someone with no federal government or foreign policy experience as your UN Ambassador.

It's not normal to nominate the co-founder of Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment to head the Small Business Administration.

It's not normal to set plans in motion to deviate from nearly 40 years of American-Taiwanese relations through a Tweet which may have been done to help expedite construction of a new hotel.

It's not normal to lie about a government contract, causing the shareholders of the company in question to lose $550 million

It's not normal for the President-elect to claim to have saved 1,100 American jobs to only later be called out by a labor leader saying that he, in fact, "lied his ass off" in terms of the actual deal and then later to publicly shame this labor leader via Twitter.

It's not normal to have the President-elect's daughter sit in on a meeting with the Japanese prime minister the same day that she closes a business deal with the country to sell her clothing line.

It's not normal to have the President-elect's son to openly admit that his father's campaign promises were so extreme that he knew they'd never be implemented.

It's not normal for the President-elect to stayed holed up inside his own downtown New York City residence, costing the taxpayers of that city more than $1 million a day as well as for the future First Lady to be noncommittal about when or even if she will be moving to the White House.

None of these actions are in any way normal. We need to keeping reminding our fellow citizens of this each and every day while our media continuously fails to do so.
