The end of the con

The end of the con

No one likes to be the victim of a con. The victim more often than not will become very angry and look for someone to blame. People generally do not want to see themselves as a fool and people feel foolish when they realize they've been conned.

The republican party has spent years building lie upon lie about what is real and what is imaginary and a lot of people have fallen for those lies because those lies were what the victims wanted to hear so they became easy to con with those lies.

After years of lies filled with promises that never materialized many of the targets or victims of these lies became angry because they weren't getting what they thought they paid for. The anger and dissatisfaction grew to a point that even though the people who had believed the lies became jaded they were still unwilling to accept that they had been feed a pack of lies.

Then along comes Donald Trump who has spent his whole life managing to pull off one con after another. He also managed to pull off some degree of an outward air of respectability despite the fact that his history was filled with one con after another. Through lawsuits and intimidation he managed to get away with a life of conning people. Another important characteristic of Donald Trump other than his life of conning people is that he is a narcissist who craves the attention and the spotlight. Running for President of the United States is the ultimate spotlight and the ultimate con.

At this moment in time the GOP faithfuls have been reaching the end of their tolerance for the lies they have been fed yet they have also been unwilling to give up the belief in the lies that for so long they had accepted as truth. This set the stage for the rise of Donald Trump who is the ultimate conman. He was able to take down the other GOP hopefuls because he ran as the anti-establishment or the anti-conman. He managed to out con all the cons and then he was able through many channels and enablers to overtake Hillary Clinton and become the president elect.

The problem Trump now faces is that he is nothing but a conman. He has no content and no substance other than the con and now he has found himself alone directly under what can be seen as the biggest spotlight there is as the president elect. The spotlight will grow after he is inaugurated. There are now no shadows in which to hide and with no place to hide and having no substance it will be all but impossible for him to not be exposed for who he is and that is that he is nothing but a conman.

There is another important element here not to be forgotten and that is the presence of President Obama. Because Trump is clueless he is now dependent on President Obama to educate him on how to be a president which puts President Obama above him as he is now his teacher. President Obama is of course is way above Trump as President Obama is exemplary and Donald Trump is a bottom feeder.

The fact that President Obama has his ear means that not only is President Obama having the opportunity to influence Trump but he is also having the opportunity to observe him first hand and I would strongly suspect that he is taking notes because although President Obama may be leaving office he is not leaving service and the greatest service that is needed at this time is the take down of Donald Trump. I think it is unwise to ever count President Obama out. He is superior in every way and eventually the superior person prevails and the inferior fails.

Donald Trump has now put himself in position where he is bound to be exposed and to fail. This seems inevitable to me. Eventually people will wake up to the reality that they have been conned and the conman is directly in the spotlight where he has no where to hide. When the victims of that con realize they have been conned and that the anti-conman was really just another conman they will have no where to turn and no one to believe in and perhaps it will be a moment when those who have been conned are willing to begin to grapple with reality.
